Who is Sherlock Holmes? 

The origins of Sherlock Holmes 

Sherlock Holmes is a famous character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1885. ACD was a doctor in South England and later became a writer. He wrote his first novel called A study in Scarlet in 1885. In the books, Sherlock Holmes is a brilliant detective who lives in 221B Baker Street (London) with his partner Dr. Watson
